Claims and the Claims Process

Step 2: Start your claim

Start a shipping claim by emailing [email protected] or by initiating contact through the contact us page.


*If your claim involved theft or burglary, it’s best to contact the police to report the incident. It’s also important to protect your home or business from additional theft.

Step 3: Agent assignment

A claims representative will be assigned to the claim and initiate contact by asking for additional information in regards to the claim.


The claims adjuster will also ask to provide:

  • Original purchase information
  • Shipping information provided by the mail carrier
  • Details about when the loss occurred (date and time), 
  • If the police were contacted in the case of theft or burglary 
  • Names, addresses and phone numbers of those involved in the claim

Step 4: Inspect and review the facts

Once we receive the claim information, we will research the situation to ensure you receive the appropriate and fullest coverage. 


Areas of research include:

  • Timelines and gaps of time associated with missed deliveries
  • Direct inquiries with shippers
  • Review of coverage level purchased

Step 5: Claim resolution

We want to resolve your claim as smoothly as possible. We work hard to keep the claim moving within the timeline laid out in the claim terms.
